Sunwater is hiring! We are looking for a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of multiple work packages aimed at separating Sunwater’s ICT and Operational Technology environments.

Work.  This is a 24-month fixed-term role, ideal for a professional with proven experience in delivering Operational Technology (OT) projects - especially those centered on OT security, infrastructure, and the technical nuances of IT/OT segmentation and SCADA architecture.

Other key accountabilities include:

• Plan and execute projects to agreed budget, schedule and quality requirements and track and report on the project in accordance with Sunwater’s Project Management Framework.
• Apply project and change management discipline, processes and tools to identify, design and implement a fit for purpose solution for the project
• Rapidly identify and assess key stakeholders, gather technical, functional and business requirements and define objectives and benefits for each project
• Develop a business case for each project that includes the high-level strategy, budget, timeline, technology stack and preferred vendor selection, for presentation to the SunWater board. Monitor and report on project delivery status including producing documentation as required.

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a minimum of 7 years’ experience managing projects within asset-intensive industries. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Information Technology (or a related field), along with a Project Management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or an equivalent qualification.

In addition, you will have:

• Strong Communication Skills – Demonstrated experience driving change with regional and remote customers.
• Flexibility and Adaptability – Ability to work in ambiguous situations with resilience, tenacity and a propensity to persevere and able to move rapidly and seamlessly between strategic vision and tactical level work plans.
• Strong Stakeholder Engagement - Manage relationships with vendors and other third parties to ensure that project delivery is maintained in line with agreed tender agreements.
