Key responsibilities include:-
- Oversee Sunwater’s long‑range planning, annual budgeting and forecasting processes, including key corporate communication such as the Business Plan, SCI and Corporate Plan.
- Own Sunwater’s business valuation and project evaluation models, as well as the cost allocation model and framework.
- Provide strategic analytical support through financial modelling, investment evaluation and insights that inform enterprise‑wide decision making.
- Create and lead high‑performing teams that deliver insightful, strategic decision support to the business.
- Oversee the development of pricing strategies and models for complex, non‑regulated customers, ensuring alignment with Sunwater’s broader pricing strategy and commercial initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders to provide strategic financial advice, challenge assumptions, and translate financial data into actionable insights that improve business performance.
- Drive process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency, accuracy and best‑practice financial planning and performance.
- Establish and uplift performance monitoring and reporting capabilities to align organisational goals, identify emerging risks and opportunities, and lead effective business performance reviews.
Our ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of senior finance leadership experience, supported by a degree in Finance, Economics or Commerce, and a strong track record of partnering with and presenting to senior executives. You will have deep capability in building and communicating financial insights, along with proven experience implementing robust forecasting and planning frameworks that incorporate scenario modelling, predictive analytics and data‑driven insights to strengthen organisational decision making.
