Senior Management Systems Advisor

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for Integrated Management Systems excellence? Join Sunwater as our Senior Management Systems Advisor where you will lead the development, implementation, and continual improvement of the quality management system and ensure its alignment to ISO 9001 and integration with other Sunwater management systems such as ISO 14001, 45001 and 55001. This role will work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the business to ensure Sunwater’s systems and processes are efficient, effective and deliver value. As the Senior Management Systems Advisor at Sunwater, you will also:-

  • Develop and maintain documented information to support effective implementation of management system to ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, and other obligations.
  • Support the development and delivery of a risk-based, level 2 assurance plan to verify controls effectiveness, and make recommendations to address gaps and ensure continual improvement.
  • Monitor quality performance of business functions including reporting of nonconformities, root cause analyses and corrective actions, and undertake post-implementation effectiveness reviews.

We are seeking a talented individual with hands-on experience in monitoring and enhancing management systems performance of business functions including reporting of nonconformities, root cause analyses and corrective actions, and undertake post-implementation effectiveness reviews. You will hold tertiary qualifications in engineering, business, quality, or related discipline, have 7+ years’ experience in a similar corporate role (preferably supporting project delivery and/or asset management in the utilities industry), have lead auditor qualification in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 and demonstrated experience with modern techniques and tools for assurance.  You will also bring:

  • Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with relevant functions to ensure externally provided processes, products and services are appropriately managed, and suitable actions are taken to resolve any gaps and rectify defects.
  • Communication skills: Effective communication and coordination skills to facilitate the successful delivery of external assurance such as regulatory compliance reviews and certification audits.
  • Innovation: Highly skilled in process improvement and/or root cause analysis trainings such as Six Sigma, Learning Teams, ICAM and/or 5 Whys 

This role offers an attractive base salary starting from $156,360.29, 12.75% superannuation, 17.5% leave loading, access to Banked Time and TOIL and a genuine emphasis on work/life balance, ensuring you are well-rewarded for your dedication and hard work.
