Document Controller

Work. Are you a document control guru with a passion for project information excellence? Join Sunwater as a Document Controller, where you’ll play a vital role in supporting the Program Controls Team. You will establish and manage the Project Information Management Systems for the complete duration of the project. Document control tasks will be managed throughout the project from concept to handover with quality standards.

As a Document Controller at Sunwater, you will:

  • Expedite document related project activities by the program controls team, contractors, engineering team etc and manage the timing of information flow and comments collection for the project.
  • Apply procedures for distribution, filing, collection of comments, and coordination of information flow to project documents for the project Implement by establishing and maintaining a coordinated and consistent filing system
  • Identify different types of documents such as specifications, engineering drawings, correspondence, financial records, and project deliverables

We are seeking a talented individual with a proven track record in project information systems, such as TeamBinder and SharePoint. Ideally you will have prior experience on infrastructure construction projects and /or experience in government or consulting to government. You will also bring:

  • Systems expertise: Experience with systems implementation, configuration and delivery to end user
  • Continuous Improvement: Experience with identifying continuous improvement opportunities and developing strategies to deliver improvements
  • Communication skills: Excellent communication skills with a knack for writing and presenting quality reports and findings to senior leadership, including the Board and executive leadership team
