Join Sunwater as Commercial Manager, where you’ll play a vital role in the management and administration of the Engineering and Professional Services Partner (EPSP) long term, collaborative agreement. Reporting to the General Manager – Engineering Services, you will ensure this collaborative partnership delivers successful outcomes for Sunwater through the provision of professional advice, efficient contract administration, knowledge transfer and the development of effective relationships with all parties under the collaborative arrangement.
As a Commercial Manager at Sunwater, you will:
- Manage the annual audit framework for the EPSP contract and collaborate with Sunwater and EPSP stakeholders to ensure all requirements under the Agreement are met.
- Support the development, assessment, and assurance of service orders across their lifecycle to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
- Lead continuous improvement planning and implementation strategies in consultation with GM’s and EPSP and ensure lessons learnt are brought into the way the wider business works.
We are seeking a talented individual with a proven track record in contract management, including collaborative contract frameworks and have a demonstrated understanding of commercial and financial risks within the engineering/construction environment. You will hold tertiary qualifications in Business, Quantity Surveying, Procurement, Law, Engineering or Construction Management, and have significant experience working with open book contractual arrangements and experience in interrogating open book claims. You will also bring:
- Commercial acumen: Experience in complex value and time-based analytics, claims mitigation and negotiation.
- Performance management: Support development of, and monitor, key performance indicators and qualitative and quantitative metrics to capture, report and evaluate the benefit and performance of the collaborative arrangements.
- Communication skills: Extensive interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to develop and maintain effective commercial client relationships in complex project management models.
