Join Sunwater as a Senior Payroll Advisor, where you’ll take a hands-on approach in managing a team of two, leading the operation of Sunwater’s end-to-end payroll process ensuring that system and legislative requirements, timeframes, service standards and business outcomes are met. Furthermore, you will support and advise key stakeholders in EA negotiations regarding software capability and system change.
As a Senior Payroll Advisor at Sunwater, you will:
- Provide hands-on leadership to the payroll team, ensuring timely and accurate payroll completion and Year-End reconciliations.
- Provide high-level advice on industrial legislation, policies, and enterprise agreements to support Sunwater employees.
- Ensure the meticulous governance and comprehensive reporting of payroll data.
- Collaborate with People, Change, and Assurance teams to ensure payroll system accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with audit processes and internal controls.
- Manage and develop Payroll & HRIS systems to improve and automate business processes.
You will have proven expertise in managing and developing Payroll & HRIS systems, and well-developed practical experience in leading a team to deliver end-to-end payroll services.
In addition, you will be able to demonstrate:
- In-depth working experience with the Aurion 11 payroll system.
- Proven track record of developing and maintaining strong client relationships and working both autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to undertake a range of HRIS projects and deliver high-quality innovative solutions to complex issues.
- High attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.
