Reporting to the Operations Coordinator, you will lead a team that undertakes operational and maintenance activities to ensure efficient and delivery of services in accordance with business processes and compliance requirements. You will ensure the team is competent and complying with Environmental and Regulatory requirements for their roles alongside relevant Sunwater policies, standards, and business rules.
As the Supervisor – Operations, you will:
- Ensure that subcontractor management processes are followed and supervision of on-site contractors to ensure safe working methods and delivery
- Actively lead on site Health & Safety interactions including assisting in incident investigations
- Provide support and guidance to Operators performing fault analysis of operational and maintenance issues
- Work collaboratively with customers to build ongoing relationships which includes communicating key information such as supply interruptions
Please note that due to the nature of this role, there will be a 1 in 2 on-call roster.
We are seeking a motivated individual with the possession of, or the ability to obtain, Cert 3 Water Operations. You will have the ability to manage a demanding workload while working in a changing environment.
You will also bring:
- 7+ years’ experience in a similar role, including 2+ years direct or indirect supervisory experience
- Strong conceptual skills including the ability to analyse situations, build effective business relationships with clients, and provide appropriate solutions that meet business objectives
- Class ‘C’ driver’s license
- Confined Space and Working at Heights Tickets
