Work.  Sunwater’s ICT Delivery team is at the forefront of driving innovation and sustainability through secure, high-quality technology solutions. With a strong emphasis on timely execution and seamless integration, the team is dedicated to enhancing project delivery, streamlining processes, and boosting operational efficiency across all initiatives.

If you're a strategic thinker with a passion for ICT excellence, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact. We are looking for an ICT Portfolio Management Office (PMO) Manager, to lead a dynamic team within ICT Delivery, shaping the success of technology projects across the organisation. Your leadership will be key to ensuring governance, performance, and alignment with Sunwater’s broader strategic goals.

As the ICT PMO Manager at Sunwater, you will:

  • Lead and oversee the Technology PMO, providing strategic support to the GM ICT Delivery and ensuring effective governance, standards, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Manage daily PMO operations, including portfolio planning, resource management, financial oversight, risk, audit, and performance tracking.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the PMO team, setting clear objectives, ensuring delivery of outcomes, and maintaining team capability and capacity.
  • Ensure robust project assurance and reporting, delivering level 1 assurance, financial insights, and data analytics to support portfolio and project success.

We’re looking for a skilled professional with a strong background in all aspects of PMO service delivery. To be successful in this role, you’ll bring tertiary qualifications in ICT, Engineering, or Business, along with recognised Project Management certifications such as PRINCE2, Agile, or P3O. You’ll have over 10 years of experience leading PMO functions and a solid track record working within government or providing consultancy to government agencies.  You will also bring:

  • PMO Expertise: Proven experience in portfolio governance, financial management, and key enabling functions that support ICT Delivery.
  • Strategic Leadership: Skilled in shaping and executing operational objectives through effective planning and coordination across governance, people, finance, and performance domains.
  • Strong Communicator: Exceptional listening abilities and a collaborative mindset, with the capacity to identify challenges, think critically, and implement practical solutions.

This is a full time role, for an immediate start and offers an attractive base salary, 12.75% superannuation and a genuine emphasis on work/life balance, ensuring you are well-rewarded for your dedication and hard work.
