Join Sunwater as a Stores & Logistics Coordinator, where you’ll play a vital role in accurately forecasting supply and demand to maintain optimal stock levels whilst overseeing the management of facilities and premises to ensure a safe, compliant, and fit for purpose workplace.
Other responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining a well organised inventory of spare parts, materials, PPE and equipment to support the efficient and timely delivery of operational works.
- Managing the receipting and dispatch of goods, ensuring full compliance with chain of responsibility requirements, including loading/unloading procedures and goods receipting process.
- Liaising and negotiating with vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing, establish planned stock provisions and coordinate delivery arraignments to meet operational needs.
Additional tasks:
- Collaborating with internal teams to understand material requirements and delivery timeline
- Maintaining critical spares and safety equipment inventories
We are seeking an individual with strong attention to detail who has demonstrated technical knowledge of inventory. You will have well developed skills in liaising and negotiating with vendors and suppliers to secure better pricing, establish planned stock provisions and coordinate delivery arraignments
You will also bring:
- Relevant experience aligned to the accountabilities of the role
- Demonstrated experience in the operation of relevant computer software programs (ideally SAP)
- Forklift licence & class C driver’s licence
