As a Senior Data Engineer at Sunwater, you will:
- Continuously review and analyze platform performance, implementing necessary actions to optimize technology and processes to enhance overall user experience and system-wide performance through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Design, develop and support automated data ingestion pipelines supporting the movement and transformation of data from source business systems to the cloud data platform.
- Partner with technical experts and business stakeholders to deliver innovative, purpose-fit data solutions that meet strategic goals.
We are seeking a talented individual with experience with relevant Azure or cloud data platform related qualifications. You will hold tertiary qualifications in IT, business or related field and experience/certifications relevant to Azure and/or other cloud platforms include experience with Databricks and dbt (highly desirable). In addition, you will also bring:
- Technical Excellence: Maintaining high standards in documentation, code management, and deployment practices.
- Performance Optimisation: Continuously analysing platform performance and implementing improvements to elevate user experience and system efficiency
- Data Leadership: Driving data-driven insights through continuous improvement of data quality, engineering and reporting to support evolving business needs.
