Project Controls Specialist

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for project excellence? Join Sunwater as a Project Controls Specialist, where you’ll play a vital role in developing and maintaining comprehensive project schedules including resource-loaded activities, critical path methodology and logically linked tasks. You will track, monitor, measure and report on the progress of the project using Earned Value Analysis techniques.

As a Projects Controls Specialist at Sunwater, you will:

  • Implement and oversee project controls processes such as change management procedures to manage project scope, schedule and costs effectively.
  • Identify and report on potential cost and schedule risks, opportunities and mitigation strategies to assist the project to effectively manage cost and schedule risk
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal stakeholders and project team members to proactively obtain accurate and timeline information on project status and performance metrics

We are seeking a professional with 8+ years in project controls and a proven track record in driving successful project delivery. You will also:

  • P3M expertise: Experience in designing, implementing and maintaining P3M tools and templates to maximise value and ensure project excellence
  • Strategic vision: Ability to design and deliver project, program, portfolio improvement strategies and programs
  • Communication skills: Excellent communication skills with a knack for writing and presenting quality reports and findings to senior leadership, including the Board and executive leadership team
