This full‑time position, based in our Fortitude Valley office, is available for an immediate start.  Key responsibilities include:-

• Conduct analysis and investigation of cybersecurity incidents across Sunwater’s IT and OT environments, and provide recommendations to support the implementation of effective mitigation measures
• Utilise the security information event management systems to proactively monitor for security events, identify threats and support incident investigation through log analysis.
• Collaborate with the external security operations centre partner to support security investigations and incident management.
• Monitor the compliance of software and other asset vulnerabilities using the vulnerability management software to identify and prioritise risks to Sunwater.
• Monitor compliance with Sunwater's security policies and procedures across technology and business operations, and follow up on audit actions to address identified gaps.
• Contribute to the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Information Security Management System to maintain compliance with standards and procedures
• Provide analysis and reporting on qualitative and quantitative operations metrics for security

Our ideal candidate will have two years’ experience in a similar role, supported by a degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science or IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.  Success in this role calls for sharp problem‑solving abilities, clear and confident communication, and the capacity to build strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders.

This role offers an array of attractive benefits including base salary starting from $113,214 (PRO3-1), plus 12.75% superannuation, access to banked time and TOIL, 17.5% leave loading and a genuine emphasis on work/life balance.
