Work - As the Operator Maintainer – Civil Works you will work under general direction to undertake a range of functions including operational and maintenance activities of our Channels, pipelines and drain systems to ensure efficient and delivery of services. You will undertake fault analysis of operational and maintenance issues and provide recommendations around solutions whilst identifying potential risks and mitigations.

As an Operator Maintainer – Civil Works at Sunwater, you will:

• Actively participating in Health & Safety interactions
• Providing support and indirect supervision to lower-level operators
• Supervision of on-site contractors to ensure safe working methods and delivery
• Conduct required maintenance activities to Sunwater water delivery infrastructure.

Please note that due to the nature of this role, you will be required to work a 1 in 3 on-call roster which may include some weekend work.

We are seeking candidates with at least 1 – 2 years’ experience in civil construction, heavy industry, asset infrastructure or who have relevant experience in a similar role with the ability to organise and prioritise own tasks. You will have experience developing and implementing solutions to routine problems, operate effectively in a changing environment and apply safe and environmentally responsible work practices.

You will also bring:

• Ability to obtain Certificate 3 Civil Construction
• Confined Space & working at heights licenses
• Basic Administration / Computer skills
• Drivers Licence
• Demonstrated ability to identify, analyse and resolve routine operational and maintenance issues while managing associated risks
