Join Sunwater as a Supervisor - Operations and play a key leadership role in the safe and reliable delivery of water services throughout the Fitzroy Region. From major dams and weirs to pipelines, groundwater schemes and treatment facilities, you'll lead frontline operational teams responsible for infrastructure that supports communities, agriculture, mining and industry across Central Queensland.

Based in Rockhampton, this is a hands-on leadership role where you'll support your team, drive safety, coordinate works programs and ensure operational excellence across a complex and varied asset portfolio.

As a Supervisor - Operations at Sunwater, you will:

• Lead and support a team delivering operational and maintenance activities across critical water infrastructure assets.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety and regulatory requirements while fostering a strong safety culture.
• Coordinate contractors and subcontractors, ensuring work is delivered safely and to the required standard.
• Provide guidance to Operators in fault finding, troubleshooting and resolving operational challenges.
• Coordinate emergency response, flood operations and on-call rosters when required.
• Support planning and scheduling activities to ensure works are delivered efficiently and effectively.
• Build positive relationships with customers and stakeholders, including communicating planned outages and operational updates.
• Manage procurement requirements and support the day-to-day delivery of operational programs.

About you:

You're a practical leader who enjoys developing people, solving problems and delivering results in an operational environment. What you'll bring:

• Experience within the water industry, including supervisory leadership experience.
• Certificate III in Water Operations.
• Strong knowledge of operational maintenance activities and safe work practices.
• Well-developed administration and computer skills with experience using operational and asset management systems.
• A commitment to safety, teamwork and continuous improvement.
