Are you a document control specialist with a passion for ensuring information excellence? Join Sunwater as a Document Controller you’ll provide specialist support in overseeing Information Management Systems across the business from initial concept to the final handover, you'll ensure all document control tasks meet the highest of quality standards.
As a Document Controller at Sunwater, you will:
- Issue and track project related documentation (engineering, deliverables, technical data, procurement and commercial information, project deliverables from design to construction), in accordance with the required schedule.
- Ensure compliance with Sunwater Information standards and naming/numbering conventions and upload project documentation to appropriate Sunwater document and records management systems e.g. SharePoint, TeamBinder (InEight)
- Perform system and process reviews to monitor and report compliance and take action to address any issues identified.
- Develop working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and provide direction and support to others with regards to document and records management processes.
- Contribute to the development and integration of document control policies and working procedures with partnering organisations to maintain data integrity and audit traceability.
- Provide additional support to project team at practical completion and handover, while working collaboratively with Information and Data Services, ensuring all project documentation is archived in line with procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in project document control including previous expertise using project information systems such as TeamBinder and SharePoint. You will also bring:
- Demonstrated ability to manage documents across large infrastructure construction projects; government project exposure preferred.
- A change management & strategy planning mindset, ensuring agility and task prioritisation under tight constraints.
- Exceptional communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to identify improvement opportunities,
- Maintain attention to detail across multidisciplinary tasks, support quality assurance audits, and promote continuous improvement strategies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications.
- Proficient in the administration of Electronic Document Management Systems
- Previous TeamBinder configuration and system knowledge is highly regarded.
