Based in our South Region, you'll oversee operational and maintenance activities across a diverse portfolio including dams, weirs, pump stations, channel systems and water treatment plants. You'll lead operational teams, support critical decision-making and play a key role in emergency and flood response activities across the region.

As an Operations Coordinator at Sunwater, you will:

• Lead teams responsible for operational and maintenance activities, ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with compliance requirements.
• Drive a strong safety culture through audits, investigations and proactive health and safety leadership.
• Provide technical advice and support to Supervisors and Operators to resolve operational and maintenance issues.  
• Manage emergency response, flood operations and on-call rosters, providing leadership during critical events.  
• Oversee monthly planning and scheduling activities, ensuring work programs are delivered effectively.  
• Build strong relationships with customers, contractors and stakeholders, acting as a key escalation point when required.  
• Contribute to budgeting activities and manage operational and corrective maintenance expenditure.  

About you:

You are a practical and capable leader who enjoys supporting teams, solving problems and delivering outcomes in a field-based operational environment.

You'll bring:

• Extensive experience within the water industry, including leadership or supervisory experience.  
• Certificate III in Water Operations.
• Strong administration and computer skills, including experience with operational and asset management systems.
• Experience managing safety, compliance and operational performance.
• The ability to lead confidently during emergency and flood response events.
