Join Sunwater as our Customer Engagement Manager, where you’ll be a central link between Sunwater and thousands of irrigation, urban and industrial customers across regional Queensland. You will manage the effective development and implementation of plans and activities that ensure the views and needs of customers are reflected in business decision-making.

As a Customer Engagement Manager at Sunwater, you will:

  • Manage customer forums, events and education initiatives to drive customer-focused efficient outcomes within the organisation
  • Manage a customer service team, ensuring high quality and consistent processes are followed, systems are maintained, and improvements implemented
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive ongoing improvements to customer experience
  • Provide expert advice on initiatives that involve customers, providing recommendations on managing risks and realising opportunities
  • Identify and prioritise emerging customer and policy issues, roadblocks, opportunities, and risks across regions and develop mitigation and resourcing plans to achieve positive outcomes, collaborating with SMEs across the business

We are seeking a talented individual with 10 years’ experience in a similar role that has strong customer exposure. Familiarity with customer support operations is highly regarded. You will hold tertiary qualifications in communication, business or a related discipline and have experience working in utilities or government environments. Ideally, your expertise will be in:

  • Continuous improvement: Lead the development and implementation processes to support the business build broad capability with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Collaboration skills: Actively contribute to a One Sunwater culture, seeking and synthesising the views of internal and external stakeholders to form meaningful recommendations
  • Communication skills: Excellent communication skills with a knack for writing and presenting quality reports and findings to internal and external audiences  

This role is a 2-year contract position and offers an array of attractive benefits including:

  1. Base salary starting from $172,722.42
  2. 12.75% superannuation
  3. Access to banked time and TOIL
  4. 17.5% leave loading
