Join Sunwater as a Senior Governance and Assurance Advisor, where you’ll play a vital role in the practice of Governance and Assurance across projects, programs and portfolio management (P3M) in the Technology Portfolio, ensuring decision makers have confidence that the project, programs and portfolios will deliver value and allowing them to make informed investment, planning and delivery decisions for Sunwater. You will provide technical advice in the application of best practice principles within the project, program and portfolio management framework and integrated controls.
As a Senior Governance and Assurance Advisor at Sunwater, you will:
- Deliver Level 2 Governance and Assurance activities including Project Health Checks, Gate Reviews and facilitating independent Peer/Technical reviews as required and in collaboration with Project Sponsors and Portfolio Managers
- Provide expert guidance and strategic advice to Project Managers, Sponsors, and Portfolio Managers on planning and delivery, ensuring compliance with ePMO Procedures (P3MF, Assurance, Controls) and related systems.
- Develop and lead P3M governance and assurance data and reporting, including assurance and decision registers and monthly ePMO assurance reporting to Portfolio Committees
- Design and support the assurance forward program, including the coordination of gate reviewers, in alignment with strategic priorities and ensuring timely delivery of assurance activities
We are seeking a talented individual with a proven track record in ePMO planning and execution or similar experience in technology project management. You will hold tertiary qualifications in project management or similar, and have experience in a similar role. You will also bring:
- P3M expertise: Experience in designing, implementing and maintaining P3M tools and templates to maximise value and ensure project excellence
- Strategic vision: Ability to design and deliver project, program, portfolio improvement strategies and programs
- Communication skills: Excellent communication skills with a knack for writing and presenting quality reports and findings to senior leadership, including the Board and executive leadership team
